You will never be jobless as there is pretty much no recession here. Even in tough times people never stop cutting their hair. We need to keep ourselves updated with the current trends, grow our network and will never be short of work.

As it is the happiest job to do, there is good money you can earn. It is a well paid career for the right skilled personnel.

Hairdressing is one of the most sociable job in the world. You spend all day meeting people new people and making them look amazing. Whether it is a 9 to 5 job or working as a freelancer. You meet amazing people.

How?

First thing requires to be a hairdresser is PASSION towards hair. Yes, this is the first skill needed to start in industry.

Second, search for the right hair school where you get to learn and practice all aspects of hairdressing right from hair science to consultation to haircutting to color, styling etc.

It is very important to know that being cool and happening industry, it does require hard work. There is a lot to study and needs great amount of hands on practice.

You start as a crafter as it is a craft for the start and than you develop your skills, understand the artistic side of it and your journey begins as an Artist.

Just never forget “Practice is the key”.

Hairdressing is not just a job but a way to see life from a different perspective. You are attending clients, helping them with your expertise, educating clients about their hair and how to look after it, listening to them with a friendly approach, bringing change in their life with the skills you have while enjoying the lovely music playing in the background and a lot more to it.

Most fun part is you can be a trend setter of the season with your artistic approach to hair. You get to experiment with your looks and inspire the clients too.

My suggestion to the aspirants will be, make the right choice to start of with, do your research well for where to learn hairdressing from. “Anyone can be a hairdresser, you be the good one.”

“Life is never boring for a hairdresser”.
